We use it. I mean we REALLY use this product. I used this
product to update this site.
We don't use it because we make it, we use it because it does something that no
other tool seems to do, which is to operate at the highest level of expectation.
Here is a list of features FTPGadget has:
First, you don't have to install it. You just stick it
somewhere, and run it. It will create only one or two files in the same place
and start working. It does not need any drivers or DLL's installed, and it does
not mess with your registry, or doing anything that can't be undone. If you
don't like it, just delete it, and it is out of your hair. Plus, if you are
on Linux, it simply "acts normally", as expected.
The most important thing about FTPGadget is it's adherence
to a goal. It is ever improving, reacting to all our needs. One of the many
reasons we built it was because we were tired of sending our own clients files
through FTP, and then having them ask us "Where are the files?" "When
did you send the files?" Or for our own protection "Do we have proof
of what we took from the site?" FTPGadget has reporting built in. After
sending or receiving a bunch of files you can send a report to the client, and
CC yourself. It will tell what it sent, how long it took, and when it happened.
Removing the constant drone of ignorance, and providing a service that all computers
should be sworn to "TO SERVE MAN."
Using a product designed by us is about as close as you
are going to get to having your own personal software company building you custom
tools.
Still are not convinced
